My girlfriend just bought a 1998 Neon, automatic, 45000 miles, the cruise control doesn't work and the sunroof won't open. I'd REALLY like to get the cruise working, anyone know how to start diagnosing the problem? There is no light on the dash when you push ON, and pushing ON then SET the car obviously doesn't maintain speed. Is there a module I can check/replace?
Getting the sunroof to open would be nice but I'm not about to rip the headliner out. I heard they used some kind of belt that eventually skips, any experience with this? Thanks guys.
