I run a 3 stage(2 in the pan and 1 in the intake valley, my R3 block is solid in the valley)... with mine I get 12" of vac which is all I want... I have heard if you run too much vac you pull the oil off the bearings Also some call the pump section as 1 .. I dont... I just call the suction sections ... as in mine has 3 suction section and the pump section
