Putting a 572 together, with a world Al block bracket motor. Like to have some opinions, On what you would run for rollers and why. Ive run Comps lifters with good results, Change them after 200 runs. Just wondering what else there is that a drop in, If not what needs to be done to run them. Thanks for your time Jim F

I'm under the impression that you need to run chrome lifters in a unbushed aluminum block, yes or no?

Ouch! That sounds expensive to somebody like me that has run the same $189 flat tappet solid lifters for 5 years and 700 passes.
That would be 4 sets of the roller lifters by now, and at $400/set that is $1600 in lifters. I guess that is the price you pay for the roller. A rebuild program should be able to reduce the long term cost, right?

better tell KB that, when i ordered my block they said there was no need to bush the block (they were adamant about it) and made no mention of plated lifters nor have i ever heard that before
