I bought a A & A Progressive linkage for the inline dual quad set up on my 426 HEMI abd it would seem im missing something. The link rod that goes between the 2 carbs looks as though it is suppose to go on the large hole at the top of the linkage arm. The kit came with no instructions and this will not work on my carbs. Thery are the original type AFB's. Anyone have a pic of this kind of set up? It would not have to be a hemi if it was the same type of linkage. if I tighten the blots the linkage will not operate.

ScottSmith, Special linkage arms for those carbs only? Im not arguing but that makes no sense, why would there be special arms on the afb carbs? I see no clearance or alignment issues using these type carb arms. Perhaps you have a picture? Please explain why there would be a difference anyways. Also I will call Mancini's and see about an adapter. Thanks for the useful tip 71 RR- J68!

Notice in the pic above that the front carb linkage attach point is much closer to the throttle shaft...if the linkage attaches to the same point on both carbs the secondary carb won't fully open at WOT.

I took Johns advice and it works great!!! 62maxwagon, I like the air cleaners Are those the early hemi ones? where can I get a set? I really appreciative of good advice!! TJ at Mancinis built the 727 for the car and it is a full manual valve body so I bought the Manual trans linkage kit! This is the wife's car.

I appreciate the information but Modern? When did they last produce the original AFB'S Im not going for the numbers match, down to the last bolt set up. I plan on running this car as I do all of my Mopars. Like I stole it! No trailer Queens at my house, I enjoy and drive all of my cars. I like to turn the wenches myself!
