Guys remember the pictures I posted about the main shaft and the possibilities of
lengthening one from power to manual? The intelligent conclusion was to NOT do it
because not enough shaft would be left inside the tube to make things safe.
Well I decided to see if the lower solid shaft could be lengthened. I figured that
CHrysler would only make one solid shaft and simply weld it at the correct length inside the tube.....
WRONG !
The lower shaft is made for Power only and the Manual is for manual only. So forget that idea also.

The solid lower shaft has a knurled end so that it can be lined up with
the key way at the top of the upper solid shaft.

Top shaft is for power and thelower one is for manual.
Difference is 4 inches on an E body.
