I was reading the SS/AH thread and figured I would post some of these up. I build custom replica slotcars of real drag cars, from stock eliminator to Pro Mods, in 1/25 scale. To date I have built over 590 of these, and yes they run. Here are a few of the Mopars that I have built. Thanks for looking, Jody

These are fantastic. Roadrnnr69 would die over these. He has a ton of them himself.

This kinda reminds me of my bb/pellet gun shooting range at my house. Not the real thing, but super fun, cheap, and less chance of killing the neighbors. Really nice models!

I looked up 1/25 scale drags on youtube and found some 1/24 stuff. They had a tree and everything. I am guessing most of the cool ones are ravell models grafted on to large slot car bodies?

Are they rear wheel drive? Do folks wind their own motors or buy stuff from catalogs? I'd love to see some more info- got any links to this kinda stuff.

Thanks guys. Josh, which car, the Duster? Jackgtx440, I have never met roadrunner69 in person but have talked to him on the phone and sold him some cars. Radar, these cars are built with model car bodies on a custom slotcar chassis, they are rear wheel drive, and with an entry level 15.00$ motor can run as fast as 1 second flat at 45 miles per hour in a scale quarter mile, 55 ft. Custom motors in the right car have been as quick as .440 seconds @ 115 mph, that I know of. Here's a pic of Greg Blevins Jr. SS/O mustang and the chassis.

Just wouldn't be accurate without a 1/25 scale Jack Daniels bottle.
