Getting ready to install Hotchkis B Body leafs on my Bee ,and I noticed that the kit is listed for both Dodge and Plymouth, then I realized that that the factory did the wheelbase 1 inch different between the two, but the Hotchkis kit I just got makes no reference to this and I know that runners have a shorter hanger.Whats up with only one size hanger in the kit? I havent measured it yet but I think it looks right for my Dodge.Do you put a longer one on a Plymouth? Meet in the middle?Just wondering.

i don't kow about the hanger but depending on the year - the bbdoies have different front leaf sements (20" vs 22") you are required to run the longer 2" hangers if your running the SS or XHD springs on a 71 and up bbody

Our front hangers are all the same. What year are you working on and comparing to?

You can get hangers from Firm Feel which are the correct length for your make and model. Dodge hangers are a different length than Ply hangers.

I can definitely feel a more "planted on the ground feel"to the car now.The 451 likes the launch stability too.Next week the RCD's should show up.I have the .96 T bars on the front and Im afraid to drop the front much more due to my deep oil pan.May need to go to a 1.1 T bar soon.

A Hemi deep pan?

Or a deeper aftermarket one that sets below the K-member? If so, dump the deeper pan! Just a matter of time before it gets hit.

I know, I wacked it last year on a hi speed dip with 4 people in it and lost all my new oil and had to be towed home. The deep pan does keep the oil cool tho.
