You can use a factory 273 4-bbl intake, or find an old SP2P intake.
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

You need one like this. Check the part number; I believe this is for 66 & later. I'm looking to get rid of it. PM me if you are interested.

The LD4B has larger ports, the Performer is probably the easiest to find. It really depends on what the car is used for. The Street Dominator is a single plane intake to be used with a larger cam, so more info would be needed to help you find the proper intake.
LD340 has the large ports
LD4B has small ports and the runners are reversed on the LD4B with no coil mounting.
at least mine is like this, there is enuff meat to open it up at the gasket to the large port size.
the performer has large runners but neck down to the 318 size port, edelbroke suggest to open the port opening up to 360 size if running large port heads, but only the first 1" or so into the runner should be opend up for a gasket match.
I did this on my performer a long time back with 360 heads.
IMHO,the LD4B would be the best bang for the buck and the holley street dom next choise. with its low rise, single plane, spredbore flange it does rather well on a stockish street engine for street duty.
I also like the one pic posted of a 4 hole open planeum 273 intake. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scope.gif)

I think there is two different bolt patterns for 273 intakes.
Correct & 67 is into the later pattern. Not sure when the earlier cutoff year was
I believe 64 was the cutoff ive got one at home.

Since the bolt angle on the intake changed in 1966, the 1964-65 heads and intake are unique and cannot be interchanged with other LA engines or with the later 273.
It's simply the angle of the bolts, not the pattern. I imagine many late intakes have been rattail filed into working on an early 273.

And vice versa. I have an Edelbrock D4B on a 71 318. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)
