I don't think it's original, so unless it was mounted through the lid, it's probably just stuck on somehow. Of the three '65 Satellites I have photos of, including my own, none of them have glovebox lid emblems. I don't see glovebox emblems on any online photos either. rwynsma OP member R Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 7	Thanks art i"ll give it a try. It looks like the same emblem that's on the trim piece betweeen tail lights. I tryed dental floss behind it, but it stops right where the first stud is.. Thanks ton

Then I understand your problem. Your evidence may point to a previous owner who drilled the aluminum skin for the studs and stuck it in?
