I'm looking for fiberglass front fenders and front valance In order to improve the weight if my 1970 road racing Cuda. What source would you recommend? How much weight could actually be saved? You can take a look at the car here http://www.hemicuda-france.com

No matter what you do, stay away from Unlimited Products. If Unlimited was the last fiberglass vender on the panet, I would make my own parts out of squirrel urine and tree bark....
So whats wrong with Unlimited,..I've purchased several fenders and hoods from them over the years, no issues, no hassels, granted like anything made in glass there's some work needed...

My transaction with Unlimited dragged on for months and was filled with out and out lies about when parts would be shipped, how parts had already been shipped (when they hadn't), how paperwork was lost, how I would have to call back later, how they would investigate and call me back later (they didn't) etc.
It got to the point that I actually kept a log of communications (read that as lies) with these folks by the phone. I even resorted to certfied mail to try to get either my parts sent or my money back. Worst vender I have ever tried to deal with in over 20 years in this hobby.

I wonder what a repro 70 Barracuda steel fender weighs compared to an original? Also the cheaper chinese/south american front glass windshields are thinner and weigh less. Look for non-PPG front glass. There is some no name reproduction side glass that is thinner too. Troy got some off E-bay for a 68 Dart that measured thin. Made in Brazil, IIRC. One mans cheap reproduction parts are another mans trick lightweight race parts.

you can loose another 50lbs by removing the door bars.
I sincerely doubt there is 50# worth of door beams, even in a E body. When I pulled the beams out of my '80, there were were maybe 10# each. Total removed added up to less than 20# when I was done.

I bought fenders & hood from Unlimited for my '70 Cuda. Do yourself a favor, buy from ANYONE ELSE.
There actually is a worse vendor out there than Unlimited. Two actually, but I think one of them is gone now. Showcars and MAS were definetly worse than Unlimited. The parts I got from Unlimited were not finished correctly, but they at least resembled the panels they were replacing. Not so much with Showcars glass. There stuff was so bad it made Unlimited look decent.

I finally got my money back through a challenge with my credit card company.

i too had a very bad experience with UNLIMITED.
A friend of mine, who lives in LA, took a look at Unlimited, while on his way to SEMA. He said that there is one lady at the desk, who is also taking orders over the phone and then one guy in the shop, who makes the parts, but only works there part time, like four hous a day and not every day of the week. Chances are that they wait for enough orders to pile up and then hire the guy to build the parts. Their pricing is pretty low as compared too others. That would explain why they have way long lead times and poor quality.
Since my buddy agreed to check in them personally every other week, I'm taking the risk to place an order, but not for all parts.
I ordered the grille from VFN. They do also only start making the parts once they charged your CC and then also have a pretty long lead time of four weeks. Probably work on the same scheme.
Glastek sounds interesting. Do they have a website ?
The other alternative would be to these steel parts and make our own mold to duplicate fenders and valances in carbon fiber http://www.autobodyspecialt.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=MP-3443A

I assure you VFN is not a small 1-2 employee shop. I have been there, I have taken the tour. They make LOTS of fiberglass parts for all makes and models. They have an entire warehouse full of molds. They do NOT stock parts, they have no more room to store them.
I have had very good luck with the quality of parts from VFN and Glasstek. They are only about an hour from each other near Chicago.
My Cuda had a 1-piece front end, hood, doors, and deck lid all from VFN.
Too bad you are so far away, I have a pair of 70 glass Cuda fenders I would let go VERY cheap (not in very good condition or the best quality).
