Has anyone here used or have any experience with using spray metal welding (Thermal Spray, Arcspray, Metalizing) to rebuild/repair damaged sheetmetal?

If so, how were the results? Pros/cons?

An example is here: www.rustbusters.com

Thanks

We have a unit at work ($40,000 cost) for the results it yields, I'm faster crafting/forming a replacement part in sheetmetal than the amount of work it takes to finish a plasma sprayed repair, great on castings/forgings/etc, but sheetmetal repairs leave a lot to be desired, and the repair is rather brittle because of the process, the unit we have requires a clean, constant 90 CFM of compressed air @ 150 psi, electrical requirements 3ph,480 volts, but we can feed just about any alloy (wire) we desire
