Im going to change my seal this weekend and might need to pick up a socket (I havent removed the driveshaft yet)

I think it depends on your yoke/pinion spline count. Ive got 2 that have 1 1/4 nuts, both 29 spline units. My 10 spline unit uses a smaller socket, say 1 inch or so.

Dr. Diff is correct as usual. Easy way to determine what spline count you have! Impact is easiest, but if you have to brute force it off with a breaker bar, do it with the tires on the ground or the E brake on! You can also use a big [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean] pipe wrench around the U joint saddle for a brace, but impact is golden.
