It really depends on which carbs you have

My old Holley 9375 came with 92 jets and no power valves, the 9375-2 HP carbs. came with 84 and dual power valves

I bought a 8896-2 HP several years ago, it came with 84 and dual power valves. That carb was dead pig rich stock, the power valve restriction channels where like .090+ diameter

As soon as the motor went to WOT the AFR would drop down to less than 10.3 AFR

,if I'm remembering correctly

Luckily I was dyno testing that carb. at Vrbancic Bros, they owned and operated the Carb. Shop next door, so they got a handle on it after we reduced the jets from #84 to # 76, two sizes at a time, with no big changes on the AFR or power

They removed the rear power valve and ended up restricting the PWRC down to around .030, I think. We put 90 in the rear and 84 back in the front and went from there, that was a bunch better but still not as good as the old 9375 non HP was
