lrtexpress OP member L Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 144 canada	Little clarification please, under stand that first row on carb tag is for application ie) 4742S = 426 1970 Front, what is the breakdown on the next row, first three digits base on 365days????? then the year ( ie 9 equals 1969 ) and what does the largest digit represent( ie 25 or 23)

6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,526 Las Vegas, NV	Yes, for example 2699 = 269th day of '69 = Friday, 9/26/69. Carb foot should be stamped "J 9". The 2 digit number represents the last 2 digits of the Chrysler part # 3418 525 4742S front all & 3418 523 4745S rear 4-spd.

The tag (with partial part number/carb number/date) is added (at Carter) per customer Chrysler Corp's spec..

The 365 day date will ALWAYS be within the same month as the letter code(month) on the "foot" stamped date on each carb.
