I've been watching the for sale posts and alternately scratching my head wondering why it hadn't sold and wishing I had the cabbage to put it in my garage.
That is a dang nice hot rod.
If everybody is happy , then it is a good thing.

Dave, I'm done with cars. At least for now. Things are just way too expensive and I'm staring retirement in the face.

Kenny, you know I have your beer back.

I know that feeling. I wish I had all the money I had spent on cars since I was 15. At 52, there not much left in my 401k for me to retire on. After 2 divorces, it seem like money is the only thing I don't have alot of. I had to take a break, maybe later I'll start another engine project. Steve De.

I know the feeling. I stared out in life with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Ken, he had a lot to say about you. I've talked to him several times every day since he bought it. He's pretty excited to say the least.

You had a sweet car! I know the feeling, one of the sadest days I ever remember was loading my 70 runner on another guys trailer and watchin it pull away! Had it since 88 and it was a huge part of my life. But took a few years off and making a fresh start on many aspects of my life. Now looking at a little 71 demon I am about to close a deal on Thought the itch might go away, it did not. Way to many good friends out there in the pits.

Missin' my 9 second 70 runner!

Sorry you sold it but I hope you are happy. I just retired this year at 56 because of my back and knee problems and I do know about the money. I wont be racing my 63 this year because I have to really watch my money. But I still can take it out on cruise nights and hit a few car shows for fun. I hope to be able to race it a few times next year but if anything breaks it will be down for a bit. Good luck to you. Ron

Best of luck to you in whatever you do Chris! I know it's a bitter sweet moment seeing something you so much effort into go off on someone elses trailer. Again Good luck.
John
