Depends if it's carb or turbo. And whether or not it's a factory intercooled car or not. If it's a factory intercooled it's a GLHS, which is something rare, but if it's anything else, they made lots of them. Most of them sent off to the scrap heap by now so few left on the roads. Very fun cars. I had a 83 Shelby with the 2.2HO carb. I had to let that car go due to excessive rust when I got it, but I did buy it just as a parts car. Even though it was not the fastest thing out there, besides my satellite it was the most fun to drive car I have ever owned. I don't know why, but I just loved driving the wheels off that thing! I would buy another one, be it carb or turbo, in a heartbeat.

If it happens to be a GLHS it is one of 1000. A very fun car that I had the pleasure of owning.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

All 87 Shelby Chargers would be fuel injected and turboed. The intercooled one was the GLHS.

Was the 2.2HO carb gone for 87? I was sure you could still get it in 86.

Shelby Charger's only got the carb'd engines in '83 and '84. ALL SC's from '85-'87 were T1 Turbo cars with the exception of the GLHS.
