Finally got myself another Cordoba. Lean-burn 360 2bbl. UNDERCOATED!!!! This thing is CLEAN! It came with a ton of parts and I already had a ton of parts from parting out my green car that got wrecked.
The Pile of parts...
The Interior is pretty nice...
Pics from the day I went to get it down in Taylorville,IL. As it sat when I pulled up...
On the trailer headed home...
Finally home it had been raining on and off all day...
The plan is to make a Fast,Cool, Reliable weekend toy. Drive to the track, run 13s all night and drive it home. I know making a Cordoba fast is going to be a task, but I like to be different.
This is a quick picture of what I kinda want to do until I can afford to repaint the entire car...
So far I havent gotten too much done, but it made it look ALOT better then when I Brought it home.
Pictures with its new friend...
- I Removed and refilled the seam where the 1/4 meets to roof. It was all cracked.
Before:
After:
-I Painted the top white where the Vinyl Top was, and will be again sometime soon.
-Put on different rims/tires with Dog Dish caps.
-I Cleaned up under the hood.
Before:
After:
-Removed the oxidation from the paint on the sides/trunk lid.
The left side of the deck lid is before and the right side is after....
I Started polishing up some of the trim....
Hopefully Before the snow starts to fly I'll have it all tuned up and converted to regular electronic ignition so I can drive it for a few weeks before I have my Ramcharger ready to roll for winter.
I think I'm going to build a 408 Stroker for it, but also a built 440 sounds good too. For now Ill just add quick bolt ons to the stock 360 and cruise it while I build a stout driveline on the side.
