Exhaust studs into water jacket on a 383, probably over analizing but other than high temp RTV, any preferred product? Flexible or hard setting?

Hello, I've always just used teflon thread sealant with no issues. Anything "hi" temp should work. Jeff

Cool, I was wondering if teflon tape would work.

Hello, Maybe I should have been more precise. I actually use the liquid teflon sealant, not the tape. I guess it would work tho. Any high temp sealant will work. Jeff

I have used teflon tape for years with no problem.
