dart44072 OP super gas D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 574 Western New York since 2000	When ever i run my air or defrost on my 02 Neon it bogs down bad. The comp. doesn't make any noises so I'm thinking there is a sensor that increases the idle when these 2 are running? Any thoughts ,I'm listening. I really hate newer vehicles Dave...............

Scottmon super stock S Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,072 Louisville, KY.	Yup, A/C compressor runs when the defrost is on. Sounds like the compressor is adding extra load to the motor when it's running.

T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,081 Niles , Ohio	As said when the defrost is on the compressor runs if over appx 31 degree temp.There should be an increase in RPM with it on.Id have to see if there is a sensor of if the computer raises the idle.The a/c usually drags the idle down some on most 4s.Rocky Chrysler Firepower
