Any else disappointed? Two of the fastest cars ond one loses on hole shot with a horrible light and the other goes .021 red . I can honestly say that I've never seen a red light that bad in PS , Connolly must have been in his head.

EE is going to be tough with Connolly running interference for her .

I generally root for all the mopar guys. AJ, Jeggy, V, & Vincent. I also know there's a lot of Connelly haters here on this board, But I find it impossible to ignore what this guy has accomplished. Basically, everything he touches goes crazy fast, and he also outdrives everyone on the property most every time he's in the seat. In my mind, He's hands down the most impressive guy in Pro-Stock these days.

Connolly & Jeggie might be the 2 best PS shoes there are nowadays, and maybe the edge goes to Connolly, who hasn't been as active as Jeggie. I'm glad Erica is doing well, just to mix things up, and her car is strong. I did not shed a tear for Line or Anderson. All of that said, too bad AJ didn't win the thing.

INHO he and Jeggie are two of the most talented drivers out there. I think Connoly running a COPO Camaro beat Jeggie in his Drag Pack Challenger too. Someone please correct me if that information is wrong.

Jeggie won that round. It was a good race!

J Coughlin Jr., Right lane, (0.004) 10.04 10.061 0.021, def. D Connolly, (0.010) 9.63 9.684 0.054

Connolly was over 3 tenths quicker than Jeggie on that run, and they ran the exact same MPH.

Wonder how much he was really holding?

Gotta love the way that COPO launches.

I would take Vincent Nobile best out of 10 all day long.

Not saying Vincent's bad, but when you swing at the tree and light the bottom bulb 30% of the time, odds are the lights that don't go red are gonna make you look better than you really are..

Trust me, he doesn't swing at the tree. The kid is just that good and technology needs to keep up with the times. Vincent is that good and can go red reacting to yellow, that should be an advantage, not a disadvantage. Just like the fuel cars, a good light for them is a .050, and that's how it should be in PS

When you got the nuts to go in and set up for .00X lights, you're gonna go red too.

I know the Connolly family really well and can tell you the whole family lives and breathes racing. I had Dave look at a few of my RacePak recordings and while I scratch my head and wonder he just points to something and says change this or that. Really good people and down to earth.

Exactly. You set the car up to leave quick and chop at the tree looking for a .003 light every pass, it's going to bite you. Both the car and the driver can be slowed down.

Everyone out there could make their car leave quick enough to hit .00X lights if they wanted, but you can't win when you're red.

did you see the TV coverage of Ericas interview in the pits next to her car? Dave is her crew chief...how about those engine blankets covering every inch of the engine.he was reaching under the blanket to make adjustments between rounds. She was bummed after not winning...
