Do they make a under chassis header for a A-Body with a 440???? Or would you just build/buy a 400 B motor for more clearance??

I like the Pro Parts headers. They work with either 383 or 440.You can run a larger tire, don't have to pull the T-bars to install them, starter is a breeze(on 440,383 is a bit snug dropping it out)nad although they are a semi fenderwell header, they fit very well.Bob Mazzolini sells them, and the new ones are made by TTi.

The 440 chassis headers like the older Pro Parts don't fit worth a hoot on a low deck with stock mounts I bought a set of the older Pro Parts from Bill before Mazolini bought the Name, inventory and rights to have new ones made, mine don't fit worth a hoot on my 1969 Dart GTS with the original 383 K member and mounts I bought a set of the 383 headers from a member and sent the left side back to Mad Dog to have him fix what the other guy bent up I was going to swap them but I have since bought a stock set of 383 exhaut manifolds for my car I'm going to keep one set of the headers for making dyno headers with EGT fittings but the other set may be availble, let me see and if so I'll post about that on here

I am leaning HARD toward the Pro Parts if I can find some. The TTI's are a PITA to do any engine/starter work. I have my engine/trans out right now, and thinking very hard about doing away with the TTI's...any body got any Pro Part headers to trade..??

We have the pro parts on the Duster and its a little old 383 with -1 heads which made up the deck height to almost what the stock 440 would be. The only tube that I had problems with was the drivers side rear. They told me to trim the steering shaft where the collar comes down about 5 inches. Other than that, I love them. I was limited to a 24" tire and now I run 27" .. More roll out
