Both can use the 10" flexplate. Tonight drilled out the holes on a small block 10" flexplate larger to use a Hemi converter on a 440 w/727 trans combination.

340SHORTY Truck Nut Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 12,291 Kent, Wa	The balance is different between the 2 balancers. The balancers and torque converters are balanced for their apps. The flexplates are neutral.. I am truckless..

quickd100 master Q Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,392 nielsville, minn.	MP used to sell the convertor weight package with instuctions for all the cast crank motors and the 440-6. You'd have to grind the old weights off your convertor and spot weld the new ones on. Dave
