DJVCuda I Live Here Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 11,179 Atco NJ	first off - 1956 chryslers had 354's 55's had the 331 - next try trwaters here for alot of info and parts and then google! there are parts out there, old, new you name it - small block dizzy's modified work on them, chevy water pumps with a spacer, small block mopar oil pumps work also, with some modification.

T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,081 Niles , Ohio	Desots is different from Chrysler as said.They are making some parts for them now.The Dodge is also different.The place used to be Hot Heads that had a ton of parts for them.They make custom stuff.Biggest drawback is the $$$$$$.They are expensive to builg.Eggy might have some engine parts also.Just make sure they are DeSoto parts.Rocky Chrysler Firepower

Only thing I couldnt find anywhere was a camshaft, not even a stock one. Had to send it to Reeds Cams here and the reground a nice little thumper for me. No headers that'd clear the steering were available then either. The customer got them but wasnt gonna work with the engine in the car. 70 Dart Swinger 72 D-100 440 shortbed 76 Pinto, 68k 21mpg!
