As you know the brakes/rear turn signals/rear flashers use the same large filaments in the rear 1157 bulbs so since the brake lights and turn signals work that means you are good from the turn signal switch/harness rearward. Need continuity/fire between the white wire on the flasher switch connector over to the white wire on the turn signal/brake harness connector under the column. This is the circuit that powers the rear flashers (both brake lights) from the flasher switch

I have the same problem. Is it just a bad connection at the flasher switch or can it be a bad switch? How do you ensure the continuity between the column wire and the flasher switch? Is it just a loose plug connector?

on my road runner i only had 3 corners working. carefully took the switch apart, cleaned the internal connectors and voila, working!

The white wire terminal on the hazard switch needs to have a pulsing 12V when the switch is energized if the switch is good. If good there with your VOM set on ohms see if there is continuity between the white wire at the hazard switch and the other end of the white wire at the TS/brake harness under the column. Always a good idea to pull a batt cable before using the meter on ohms
