I can definitely relate to how you feel. Yours looks great so far. The current delay on mine is waiting for rocker arm shims and push rods to get here. That stuff should show up by Wednesday (hopefully).

Well the heads are stuck down at a local shop that said he could have them back soon because these use a standard chevy sized guides, and he could sleeve them and get them back, but called him a week later, and he now has to order the 11/32" reamer...So even though its the same size as all the chepppies on the planet, nnow its another week and a half.
I should get them back at the end of the week. They will have new2.25" intake valves, new 2.0" exhaust valves, and seats all cut along with the guides all sleeved for all the wear. New Ti locks and new seals...I might even have them re-flowed just to see where I end up and do a little bench racing with the cam.

I called him today, and they should have been done, but nope, the reamer wasn't right and he has another on the way, and now he has a really hot job he has put ahead on mine as well...Totally sucks. Glad this isn't my normal engine builder. Would have shot him today. Going to miss putting it in the car and getting a few runs on it I think. On a side note, you SV1 guys, what type of dual inlet fuel line set-up do they take? Do they use a 4150 or 4500 style? I just had an E85 one quoted for my Hemi... Looking at these: http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/641151/10002/-1

Mines making some progress. I took these pics last Friday. The short block is assembled, the heads were installed but not permanently then (used a spare set of cheap gaskets). I ended up needing another set of .060 rocker arm shims from Indy, they arrived today. When I dropped them off tonight he was torquing the heads using the cometic gaskets.

Looks nice. I would ditch that intake though..Only intake with worse distribution was M1 single 4 barrel...
I may get one of the Stage V ones later(when the budget allows), but for now I'll run this one. Dan still has to mill out the center dividers (Vanke mod) and open up the throttle bore area for the 750 carbs. If you look close you can where the top is marked where it will be milled out.
Yeah, can't see it in thew pics, but that will really help...
