If so, is the middle shim completely flat or does it have a slightly raised area around the bore, same as the outer layers? I know its a weird question, but Id like to know. Thanks ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

Thanx for the info. I have a set of .060s that I no longer need. I do need a .040. I cant see any reason why I cant pull one of the middle .020 shims to give me a .040 stack. But, one of the .020 shims is completely flat, the other has the slight ridge on one side. Im guessing pull the slightly raised shim and keep the flat shim? ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif)

Are they new??
I might be able to swap them out for you depending on the bore size. I have new 4.410"'s on the shelf in the thickness you want.
Let me know.

No, they were bolted down and ran for about 30 mins, then motor was torn apart.

Call here and I'm betting they can help you out. They had my Cometic gaskets made and to me FAST, super FAST and they were made to order. http://www.4secondsflat.com/
