Those are AR Torq-Thrust II's that actually go on my 'Cuda. They are 18X10 fronts and 18X11 rears.

how is it coming along?
Had the opportunity to buy another building for a shop extension. That has taken precedent the last few months.
This car is scheduled to have work started again on Monday. So I should have a few more pics at the end of next week.
Thanks, Craig

Been doing a little work this week. Roughed in the dash. This is just to build the mounts for the dash frame. The pad will still need to be tweaked and upholstered. More on that later. Still just fitting!! Removed the rear floor section. Leaving only this... Cut it in half and called the junk man... Pretty sure were at the point of no return now! Fit the kick panel plates. This attaches the firewall to the existing inner structure. This allows me to mount the E-brake pedal and locate the wire pass through for the doors. Still working here.

Damn! that's a lot of work. Why didn't you do the scrap yourself, it would have paid for a couple nice lunches. Nice work so far.

Will be squeezing sometime this week to do some more. Going to finish tying in the front before cutting the back out. Stay tuned.

Very cool project. Is the ride height in the first couple pictures what you are shooting for? Also, the 30k estimate-is that expecting the exterior to be straight and solid before beginning?

Yeah, sometimes I look through some pics of other builds and think, "that shouldn't take but a few hours..." and then I remember doing something similar that takes a full day or more. Hours just rack up stupid fast.

Thanks,
Yes that is the stance the customer wanted. We played with it a few hours and that's what he decided on.
That's north of 30K, and yes, assuming a good candidate car. Don't care if it's straight (no unibody damage!!) but panels need to line up pretty good before starting. It would need to have excellent rockers, cowl, wheelhouses, and drop offs. Anything that needed to be repaired would be an additional expense.

I am SO going to hire you to do this to my 71 barracuda convertible...
I sometimes kick my self in the ass for suggesting this to the customer in the first place!!
Once I get the front finished and in epoxy, I'll consider that a major hurdle. I'll forget what a pain in the ass it was by the time I'm finishing and probably take on another!!
