Anyone running one with success?
Which one are you running?
What RPM do you launch at?
Do you run a different tire with a brake?
Would you run one with a heavy car (3400 w driver)
Which torque converter do you run with yours?
Lots of questions about one of these so any help is appreciated.
Thanks

I run a old T/A brake on mine(non low band apply)...
same conv (N/A for me)... I launch at 5600 rpm...
T/A conv... the brake and conv have done right by me

Transact of Indy makes the one we are running.I like it a lot. Had TA ones in a buddy of mine's car, and they gave him issues when they got hot. So for many years I avoided them, but now, I am a believer in using one if its allowed. Gives you more time on the tree instead of looking at the tach.

We launch at anywhere between 2000 and 2400 in a 2700lb car running 10.10 at +134...Tried a 3k launch and pretty well killed the brackets on the four link. Its in the chassis shop being updated.

The convertor is a custom, for a different car, 4700 stall tight 8". The car is typically a foot brake car, but I like the trans brake now that we have it.

You don't launch at max rpm all the time. Our car leaves with the same 60ft off either, so for us, its just a consistency thing. The car is deadly with, we just seem to be finding more HP on this little pump gas engine than the car can take.

Anyone running one with success? Yes good success for 4 years now.
Which one are you running? A&A brake with safe neutral LBA.
What RPM do you launch at? 4800 to 5200
Do you run a different tire with a brake? Yes M/T stiff side walls or Goodyear.
Would you run one with a heavy car (3400 w driver) sure should make your reaction times more consistent.
Which torque converter do you run with yours? A1 Stalls to 6400 5.3% slippage
My stuff is all for sale too PM me make you a good deal Comes with two torque convertors

I have ran all the ones mentioned so far. The Tranzact by far the best one I ran. Hear the Griners are really nice too.
