make a jumper wire with alligator clips on each end. jump from the large starter relay "batt" terminal to the male "ign" small terminal next to it (the male terminal not the yellow wire female connector that's plugged into it) & see if it cranks right then as is no key needed. if yes seperate/clean the bulkhead & retry. If it did when jumped but now still no go check the ign switch connector. If jumping in the beginning is a no go plug the yellow wire back in & take the jumper & ground the male "grn" terminal on the starter relay to ground & see if it will crank with the key. If yes then the neutral safety switch (NSS) ain't being grounded either at the trans (auto) or the clutch pedal (stick) or in that wire somewhere intransit between the starter relay and the NSS. You can fix it or permanently ground it just be aware that it will negate the safety feature of it only being able to be cranked/started in park/nuetral & it will start in gear now
