What rear shocks work best in a 73 Dart with Super Stock springs (002/003)? I seem to recall that a longer shock is required with the super stock springs.

Or measure the distance between the centerline of each mounting stud and go to your local NAPA and look for some that will fit. That is what I did, and found (if I can remember correctly) a shock for a 2wd Ford truck from the 70's that fit. Remember to check full extention and compressed to get the best fit.

Old trick was to use C-body shocks, or shocks from a Dodge 1/2 ton truck.

I'm running Rancho 9000's. Work great for me.

If you go with the C-body shocks, and are at an O'Reilly's, they have the applications goofed up. Look for the Police application, as their computer listed the wrong ones for the regular cars.

Thanks or all the replies. I will check out O'reilly for the "C" body shocks.

BigBlock340Power, do you know the part number of the Rancho 9000s you are using?
