i've got a new holley on my 383 and its an auto trans challenger. so i'm trying to keep the car looking mostly stock so i don't want any billet brackets, gawdy carb mounted brackets etc. i know holley sells a bracket that bolts to the carb but i can't see how that would work. so i'
m open to suggestions and pictures as i'm trying to achieve the close to stock look.

Not sure I understand what the problem is. The throttle cable just attaches to the throttle stud on the carb. Do you need a taller throttle bracket? Have you looked at the brackets that Mancini Racing and Hughes Engines sell?

i am keeping the stock air cleaner and my throttle cable and kickdown and offset closer to the valve cover. plsu my throttle calbe won't reach where i'm thinking of attaching the stud on the carb. i see holley sells a bracket thats specially designed for the chrysler pull stud, to relocate it back to where the factory had it.

Maybe you're talking about this part?

You bolt this part to the the Holley throttle lever and then bolt your old throttle lever stud to it. As you already know, your throttle cable connects to the throttle lever stud.

Yep that's the part the OP needs to get the cable to have the correc angle from the carb to the throttle cable holding bracket at the rear of the engine. Had to purchase one for each of my Holley carbs for the 383 and 440, and the kickdown pin for the 727 on the 383 carb. Simple and eazy bolt on bracket and pin and well worth the money. I think my local Advance Auto Parts store had it in stock or got it in a few hours (next day at the most?) just give them the Holley part numbers.

If you don't have the kick down linkage then you don't really need that extra adapter.
