I never realized hole saws came in so many sizes
A friend of mine owned the Ramchargers Pro Stock car and we thought the same thing when he bought it home and we got looking it over. Holes everywhere.

I did the hole saw deal to my dash when doing my cage. None will be seen once back together. Only saved 1.8 pounds, probably wasn't worth all of the effort.

I disagree. Every single ounce matters when trying to lose weight on a race car. Almost 2 lbs from JUST the dash frame.Another 1 here, 3 there, and next thing you know 100lbs is off the car.

Update- With the rain forecasted to last at least until Sunday, we put the Red Light Bandit in the trailer last night, and took it back to Roanoke Motors in Roanoke, IL, which is current owner John Gastman's Chrysler/Dodge dealership. Sorry to those who were hoping to see it at Indy. Bill Bagshaw had a great time seeing the car, was extremely happy with the final product. We had a great time visiting with him, and seeing him drive that car around Indy was awesome.
Bucky and Travis flew in for Friday, and even though Bucky was not racing, he said he didn't mind at all... he was thrilled to see Bagshaw and Gastman happy with the car. Again, thanks to Bucky and Travis for the great job, and putting aside race car testing to finish the car.
One of the great highligts was having the RLB lead the Elephant parade with owner John Gastman in the passenger seat. I don't have any pics of that since I was shooting video most of the day yesterday. Thank you to all who came up to the car and greeted us, we had a great time! Our hope is to have the car at SEMA, and then at Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals on November 17,18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
