Any options besides replacing it?
I don't know if there is such a thing as a repair insert (I have seen this done before, but not in a kit form for home use) or other repairs?

Or you could try JB Weld. It'd probably work just fine.

I don't think any Holley with center hung floats used a transfer tube.

I guess I should have specified, this is a float bowl off of a replacement 4bbl Holley carb, so not Mopar specific. Any front fuel bowl from a dual inlet Holley should be the same. I have a shop locally that stocks the replacement bowl from Holley - the second link in one of the above posts for $65. It's new and functionally correct just a little different looking than the original. I'm probably going that route since this insn't an original carb and is going on a warmed over smallblock. I know I have seen these salvged before and was more curious if that would be more practical?

The Helicoil kit will do about 10 bowls and costs around $70.
JB Weld costs about $5.00 and will get the job done for you. Plus, it'll be ready to roll in 24 hours. That's what I'd be doing.

That kit is for the fuel bowl screws,OP has stripped fuel inlet fitting threads.

Exactly, good catch 62Max! I would consider the JB weld in there but this is also where the filter(s) reside - behind this fitting, so if I used JB weld I would
have to ditch the filter

Sorry for the mistake.

Quadrajets have the same 7/8 - 20 threads as Holley's big inlet. They also have stripped threads problems.

There are oversize fittings that cut new, larger threads in the housing but I can't get a picture of them. You have to be careful with either repair as the housing isn't very robust.

Heck, I have bought 3310s on the 'bay for as little as $35 delivered.

Or you could use this as an excuse to buy a new fuel bowl with a permanent window for setting floats!
