im not sure if im on the right 'page' to ask this ? my dad bought a 67 gtx new. sold it to buy a 69 cuda. he bought it back a few years ago & weve been restoring it. might call your DMV & see if they have a title history service. We used to have it available here till privacy concerns nixed it

With today's privacy laws your DMV will be of no help. Your best bet is to talk to whoever you bought it from and see who they bought it from and just keep going back owner by owner. It sounds like it won't work but 20 years ago I did this in reverse and traced a '67 Hemi GTX that had been a local car back through six owners and found it. I have to admit though, this approach would be getting harder all the time as previous owners pass away.
