Anyone know how to get the Reverse Lens out of the rear bumper. Once the screws are removed the lens will turn but seems too big to come out.

Remove the bulb from underneath and it will fall right out.

There are 2 bulbs with 2 round holes to access behind bumper reinforcement plate.Once bulb/sockets are removed the plate is still stationary and doesn't seem to help with Lens removal.

I just went out and pulled mine to see where it might be hanging up.

Most likely, the lens is really stuck solid to the gasket that is between the lens and the housing.
Carefully pry the lens away from the gasket and you will be all set.
Careful, that lens is brittle and good replacements are hard to find.

I found a good lens yesterday. It was in a wrecked bumper so the opening was bent enough to wiggle it out but it wasn't easy. Gasket was great. Mine separates from the gasket fine and can be turned up and down but seems too wide for the opening. Good collision book would be helpful as there must be a trick to get them out. Had a few different people try but no luck yet.

Checked my books - Nothing!

I can only attribute this problem to the excellent Chrysler Quality Control in the 70's and the stamping(s) were out of spec. It WAS the end of their production life after all.

Sorry that all I was able to give you was info but no solution.
Like I said, I was able to get mine to pop out with a little pressure. I saw no clips, retainers, or anything that would hold it back.
Try using the holes in the bottom of the bumper where the lamp sockets went through and give it some force from behind.

Installed new Lens last night. Once bulbs were removed we undid the two screws on each side of the socket plate. Once the socket plate was moved it freed up enough space for the Lens to roll out. Thanks for the input.
