Did either Hamtramck or the LA plant use hollow style jack posts during the 70-71 model years for E bodies? If so, what was the length of the post? Photos would be great!!

Searched some old threads and found the following: hollow tube was introduced mid year 70. Can others confirm this?

All the Jacks in my 1971 E Bodies are T Type Jacks. Chrysler put both T Type and Tube Type Jacks in 1971 E Bodies. I have had other 1971 Ebodies that have had the Tube Type. Of all the 1971 E Body Convertables that I have looked into the trunks of and have owned have had a T Type Jack. I believe there were two different manufactures Chrysler had for the jacks. Looking at the mech. there was either a date code on the rivit or on the mech. making me think there were two Companies making them. Also all my E Body bases all are unique. There was another post on this and I had asked the OP to post a picture of the base to his Jack and it is different from all my bases.
