On my 72 RR Air Grabber hood car with a 440 and Performer RPM intake with a Carter Carb, I just picked the back of the hood up slightly from where it should have been to give the clearance from the higher intake manifold. That being said I would believe the air grabber bubble sits higher in the middle than a stock RR hood.

Here is a link to the Edelbrock site that shows the dimensions of the intake. There is another link to hit on this page that shows how they measure the intake manifold. Compare this measurement to the stock intake manifold.
