I have 18 x 10 WHEELS on the hot rod. There was room for 15 x 10 WHEELS on my 74 Road Runner too.
It's all about the backspacing.

18x10s all the way. Move the springs in, get the offset right and it's good.

The Charger has more space than the Roadrunner. The combo i ran on my 72 Charger (15x8 steelie w 295/50-15) wouldn't work at all on the 72 Satellite, front or back. I figured they would. Disappointing... because it sure looked mean...
I should have known... as all those old Nascar Charger pics look pretty stock, metal-wise, where all the 71-2 Roadrunner pics have the wells cut out at the body line... a LOT ov missing metal.
Still... i can fit 18x10's easy on my 70 Challenger... which has to be smaller than a 71-2 B-body, even the smaller one? You should have no problems... just takes a LOT ov messing around, mocking up and finding the perfect backspace.

I'm running 20X10 on my 71 RR and there is plenty of room. No relocation of the spring mounts leaves about 3/8 inch between wheel and spring. Like stated above its all in the back spacing of the rim. I used a 4.5 inch back space.
Got pics? I'd think they'd work on my 73.
