Well after playing with these cars for 30 years I have never found a build sheet in a Los Angeles built car. So when I got my 1969 340 Dart Swinger and saw that it was a LA built car I was just happy that it is a numbers matching engine and trans with a fender tag. I started cleaning the interior and pulled the back seat out and just as I thought....there was no sheet. Then I pulled out the front seat and HOT DOGS.... there was a build sheet!! It is about 85% there and it is the correct sheet for the car!! Just goes to show you.....never say never.
....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!

The car gods are with me on this on so far. Short story...I bought this car off of a friend of mine and it has been sitting for twenty years. I tried to get it running but rusted out freeze plugs and bad fuel took its toll. I have gone through this car from front to back and she is just about rolling on its tires again....just waiting on the radiator shop for the recored radiator. I started her up last week and she purred like a kitten!! It's going to make somebody a fun car!!

Neat ultra original virgin car to learn stuff from. Note the black paint continued from the bottom of the rear door panel to the corner of the rear seat. Just like I've seen on E-bodies so you don't see the car color through the gap in the rear seat corner. Maybe B-body had the same thing? Man those are some ultra minty floorboads. Floor seam sealer obviously put down before final paint.

Lucky Dog!! I found a scrap of a buildsheet in my LA built 71 Duster 340 crammed up the metal where the sail panel board goes. That was closest I will get to a sheet for my car.. Beautiful Dart BTW!!
