I have a 68 Barracuda that's needing the emblems re-chromed or replaced .
I've found a few new ones I'm going to install . Can anybody recommend a shop that will do it , and what are the going rates to re-chrome them ?

Don't even bother, the emblems are pot metal and to rechrome them would be way more expensive than buying new ones.

If he's like me and has emblems they don't make at this time I'd maybe consider Paul's Chrome. It's going to be expensive and the better shape they are in the better off you are. I have some emblems for my Dart that no one makes so I have to go this route too. Good Luck

The ones I need aren't re-popped yet . I found the re-popped ones for the header panel and Formula S on the fenders . But the Barracuda emblems on the fenders and trunk aren't made yet , or the fish on the trunk.
The used ones I've seen for sale so far are no better then mine .

Classic has the ones for the fenders listed , but told me that they are still in tooling and don't have a clue when they will be in.

No one reproduces the emblems for 66' Coronet so I had to have the D O D G E letters rechromed. Front and back. Atlantic Coastal Plating in Athens TN. did a beautiful job for $35 ea letter. That is a lot of money but the alternative was to have a beautiful paint job with 46 year old emblems. They are now doing a set of valve covers and air cleaner lid (HEMI) for me. They use a HEAVY copper base, polish, and then Nickal and Chrome. I would highly recommend them.
