340B5 pro stock Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 1,532 off the grid	I did mine at .022, .024 per Wiseco recomendations. The gap isn't as important as making sure the second ring is a couple thousands wider gap. The wider gap on the 2nd ring helps prevent ring flutter. Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

It could be tighter, it just depends... My BB race 4.375" bore I run 0.021 and 0.024" But my street/strip 4.350" bore I have 0.018"
