putting some new spark plugs in my 340 cuda with the electronic ignition (orange box)and was wondering which gap i should use?

I have the same electronic box and my plugs are gapped at .035.

As Joe said .035" will work excellent. You could experiment with .030" and .040" & see how it acts. FYI NAPA sells a Mopar rotor, (Echlin MO-3000 iirc) with a .060" longer blade will will help with spark scatter/rotor phasing issues if needed and I'd rather have the spark energy all being used inside the combustion chamber rather than being dissipated jumping a large gap from the rotor blade to the cap terminal

Someone (on here) iirc way back provided the Echlin # and Jacobs ignition ("Aunt Tillys tips" in their bible) has some interesting info on how different gaps will affect how it starts/runs/maintenence intervals/power produced
