Use the one that Andy F sells thru Mancini and other sources. It's the best one out there. You can also get it as a solid plate to mount various parts to.

The one on the left I made out of 3/8 thick aluminum and have since cut angles on the top to make it look good.

Think this is one of the easiest to install performance parts I ever bought! I did install studs on the water pump like andy said.

I agree the one piece is better than individual "elephant ears". This is all you need. The alternator can go either below, or above (stock location).

If you want to make one, get some dimensions and do it. But several companies sell them reasonable prices (~$100).

I have a laser cutter at work, but I don't have a print for one of these. Anyone happen to have a pattern or some type of file they could volunteer. Not sure if I am going small block or big block, anyone have either?

Thanks.

All though this type isn't as trick looking, it depends what you have to mount. There's a lot of room for stuff. Not to mention you can tie it to down bars (which I should have done).

Its close. It runs and moves. Many projects at my house as well as helping family and friends. This weekend I'm doing head gaskets on a car I bought for my son, building a deck,Kitchens half done. tracks are nearly closed here in Michigan so I'll have to wait until Spring.
