Should the black on the 70 Road runner hood be flat or satin black?
Opinions please.

The correct paint is called Organisol. You could call it a "semi" in a sense.

It has a texture to it with a low sheen.

Here's one of my old car's that doesn't have Organisol on the hood stripe.
It looks good just not fully correct.

And here's my present car, again not Organisol.
You be the judge if you like it with a little sheen or if you have to have it 100%.

Yes 70 used organisol on the hood. Here is a pic of my new projects hood.

If you're going for originality, go organisol, if you want durability, go basecoat black w/matte clear! This '69 RR I did in basecoat black w/matte clear. He wanted the screens in '69 R4 red.
