Been a Zombie since Sunday. It runs well with no leaks. Trans moves the wheels in all gears. Headliner went in yesterday. Seats are in. Vacuum pump relief valve squeals after the engine is shut off. Never had one before, normal? Its a GZ system. Radiator needs the lower neck moved. I swear nothing ever fits.

Thanks to the "King " at the Haas & Carouthers shop the radiator now fits. Fan brackets tomorrow, then onto cutting the hood for carb clearance.

LOL that's the one thing you can count on. sometimes it's downright depressing when you end up having to hack up a prefabbed something so much you would have been time and money ahead to start off with ore from the mine

if i ever actually get something that fits out of the box i get very suspicious.

i've come to the conclusion about the only thing you can put in these cars that doesn't require some type of modification is fluids

Every thing I drive is broke except my wife's 73 Challenger. Today is my son's (Dizuster) wedding party. Back to it tomorrow. Finished the head gaskets, lower suspension and fuel gauge on my other son's Malibu for today since he's in from out of town. Put the bed back on my dually after repairing the fuel gauge, brake line, and pinion seal. I need to dissemble the "wondrefull Mercedes" trans in my Magnum. It goes into limp mode intermittently. Aw yes the racecar. The fan mount's are made so the rad can go in. Will start on the windows later this week. Pic.s tomorrow.
