I've checked with some of the local Mopar dealers about Hemi cores. Ran into roadblocks where they claimed they send back the engines to Corperate.

Thats the exact same thing I've ran in to.

plenty of somewhat affordable 5.7īs around here just have to look for them, both local ads or junkyards.you might be looking at srt engines but i cant see them being impossible to find on your side of the atlantic they turn up from time to time complete even over here, just not as cheap as the 5.7īs

Bob Mazzolini Racing just did me a deal on a 6.1 crate after an EBay deal fell through.

$5500 with factory TB and harness but no Processor.

I'm going carb induction so didn't need the factory ECM

67 RO23 clone with 6.1 SRT Hemi and dual quads. Soon to have Drag Pak induction and Throttle body.

I work for a dealership and that is true only if it is a warranty claim and or if the company that supplied the new motor wants the core back!

Still no 6.4 long block # but you can get a 6.4 short block for 2200.00. Matt
