Don't have the receipt in front of me but I bought a set for my '72 from Jim's, I think. They were not perfect but they did fit well, work well and look right.

Prostdodge (scott) said he used some for a 70 charger and drilled the hinge a tad to fit the bushing seams to me like that would work but......... 71 door weighs way more then a 70 ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/1343795-scratchchin.gif)

NONE of the Mopar lower door hinges had bushings. IF you insist on useing the bushing supplied with the pin kits dont expect the hinges to last very long.
Heres the reason why.
1 the spacing between the 2 halves isnt sufficient for the heads of the bushing to fit. You have to thin that area for clearance, this weakens the hinge.
2 The hole that has to be drilled for the bushing is large enough that there isnt a lot of metal left to support the weight that the heavy doors exert on them. With the need to thin the sides and the need for the large diameter of the bushing hole you are seriously weakening the hinge.
I am truckless..

How would one go about getting rid of all the slop in top and bottom hinge?

FWIW - not a resto so I bought a pin from Tractor Supply and drilled the hinge to fit and it worked perfect.
Agreeing with all of what 340SHORTY said - no bushings were on mine.
