Congrats in your racing life Dustin.. you sure have moved up in the world and if there's 1 driver that deserves it.. Its you..
Keep us low lifes up to date on how the car performs for you.. I think its safe to say we all get a kick out of your posts and stories..
Thank you Don, very kind words! Hopefully there will be more new best updates for both of us in the near future. Can't wait to hear how your new bullet works for you!

Very Nice Dustin.. I didn't know you could get 400" out of a 318" Nice to know.. Clean and well thought out.. Chris..
Why yes you can, looking back I should have done the 408-416 thing, bigger bore = more power, but this shall work just fine for its intended purpose. Its a bracket car, just a number on the window.

Thanks again for the kind words. Raced the car this weekend at our national open up here, Runner upped in real street .4 pro tree, 12.0 index class. And lost in the semi's of pro. I was .018 to his .045 on the tree and the car chattered the tires time to move the leafs in for more rubber!

Options are limited, It will fit on the frame rail or behind the rear bumper, but that was higher than I cared to mount it. So here's where it currently resides.
Thanks for the pics Dustin..

Looks good Dustin. Glad to see some younger gen guys doing the muscle car scene these days. Few and far between. And the progress you have made since you started with the car as a student, and doing it yourself proves you to be a True Gearhead!
Thank you! I'll try to keep waving the mopar flag with my generation. I couldn't have done this without the help of many people.

Thank you Wes! Glad to see you back more regularly. That Billy can sure tell a story, truly enjoy his posts, glad I could share my own with you guys and gals.

Impressive performance! I think you will find, though, that for bracket racing, you will need to run a set of bias slicks on there for consistency.
You're definitely not the first person to tell me this! On a good track the car works great, and will 60' within a few thousandths all day, the bad tracks, not so lucky. That said I'm a bit stubborn still and have a brand new set of these drag radials sitting here to use for now. Once I move the springs in and buy a wider rear wheel I'll have a set of radials and a DOT bias ply to choose from depending on the day.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you all enjoyed the short story. Now I just need to find a /6 grandma car to stick my old drivetrain into!

Impressive numbers out of that...ummm....318! Hey, if they dont know, dont tell'em. Ken
Thanks Ken, coming from a successful racer such as yourself it means a lot. Still have the "340" decal on my air cleaner, need to order a 318 one for full effect. No ones going to believe it for one second

Cam was Spec'd by RyanJ for my combo, at first I thought it seemed pretty big as well, but it seems to work! No complaints at all about it. Looking back, probably should have gone solid roller for more power, but it was my choice to stay flat tappet.
Brian @ IMM ported the heads, good guy to work with as you know.
I'll keep flying the street car banner, it riles a lot of people up when my street car is faster than their gutted, big tire racecar. In the end most are pretty impressed by its performance and what I do with it, some just shake their heads. They're made to be driven, not sit in the garage, this winter was painful for me to not be able to drive it around, even though the weather sucks up here haha.
Thanks Ya'll
