Kern Dog Striving for excellence Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 18,493 Granite Bay CA	It was part of the early evaporative emissions package. The car is a 1970, right? I've seen them on 1971 cars too. There should be 4 tubes coming off of the gas tank leading to that tube.
