Way out in the sticks of Weste...
I'm looking at a 2007 PT Cruiser that has some "battle damage" on the left side. Namely the L/F fender, L/F door, L/R door & some damage on the left dog leg. My question is, what years of sheet metal will interchange on these cars??

A fellow not too far from me has a 2001 PT that has the parts I need, Will they work??

Doors should be the same, but the fender might be different. There was a "freshening" in 06, and the headlight shape is different.

Thanks for the input guys.

I called my local salvage yard, and all I could get from the kid on the phone was "Duh, I don't know!"

I think the difference on the head lights was at the bottom of them.

The bumpers front and rear were part of the freshening, so I'd look real hard at the fenter/bumper mount too. Judging from the pics on the following ads, it should be fine.
I hung a later rear bumper on my 04 with no issues.
The doors will be the same, but the inside panels are different

They must have made some changes to the doors after 2005. I called 2 different salvage yards today & got the same reply, up to 2005 is the same, 2006 & later is different.

06 and up door skin is the same, but the inside is different so none of the trim will fit.
